GULFSTREAM NAMES TOP SUPPLIERS FOR 2008
Award Recipients Represent Six Countries and 16 States
SAVANNAH, Ga., June 1, 2009----Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), recently announced its 2008 Supplier of the Year awards.
Award selection is based on the Gulfstream supplier measurement
rating card, which tracks
overall value, delivery, quality, customer service and compliance for all Gulfstream suppliers. The companies singled out for recognition scored 100 percent in all card categories throughout 2008.
Gulfstream honored 59 of its 350 suppliers: 31 initial-phase suppliers; 10 final-phase; four small-business; and 17 indirect suppliers that support all of Gulfstream. Three suppliers were recognized in more than one category. The honorees represent six countries and 16 states. (An alphabetical listing of all recipients is attached).
